Christmas Eve Walk

Vi gick på en morgonpromenad på julafton och stannade till hos grannen för att kika på hennes kaniner. Dom är jättesöta och fluffiga och de verkar ha det riktigt mysigt i sina bon. De fick lite äppelbitar att mumsa på. Tänk vad mysigt det skulle vara att ha en liten kanin att gosa med! Jag har hört att man kan lära dem att gå på låda och att de kan springa omkring fritt i huset typ som en katt eller hund.
Tui la sig i en snödriva och kämpade för att komma upp. Han såg ut som en sköldpadda tills Anna kom till hans undsättning.

English: We went for a morning walk on Christmas Eve and stopped by our neighbor's house to have a look at the bunny rabbits. They're so precious and fluffy and they seemed so warm and cozy in their little nests. We gave them little pieces of apple and watched them snack away. How awesome would it be to have a little bunny to cuddle with? I heard you can teach them to use a litter box and have them running around the house freely like a dog or a cat.
Tui laid down in the snow and struggled to get up. He looked like a turtle until Anna came to his rescue.

The fire crackled and popped. 

Sen gick jag till jobbet och diskade i fem timmar. 

Then I went to work to do the dishes for five hours. 

Will I change?

Att ha en smartphone har länge varit rett främmande koncept för mig. Jag har nöjt mig med att ringa och smsa från en gammal Sony Ericsson. I sex år hade jag den och det funkade nästan helt perfekt. Nu har jag fått en iPhone. Det är ju som en helt annan apparat. Jag har blivit en sån som inte kan slita blicken från telefonen en enda sekund. Kommer jag någonsin ha tråkigt igen? Tåget jag sitter på är fyra timmar försenat och jag är inte ens irriterad. Jag och min telefon har det så trevligt tillsammans! Jag tog ett kort på mig själv tidigare när jag väntade på tåget. Är jag kall? JA! Är jag irriterad? Inte alls.

English: Having a smart phone has been a foreign concept to me for a long time.ive been doing just fine using my 6 year old Sony Ericsson for texting and calling. And it's almost always worked perfectly. Now I have an iPhone. It's a whole different machine! In only 24 hours I've become one of those people who can't take their eyes off the screen for even a second! Will I ever be bored again? The train I'm on is delayed 4 hours and I'm not even bothered. My phone and I are having a grand ol' time. I took a picture earlier of myself waiting for the train. Am I cold? Heck YES. Am I bothered? Not even remotely.

Down By the Quarry

Det finns ett kalkbrott vid min by. Det blir ett ganska djupt hål och om man står på kanten är utsikten helt ok. 

English: There is a quarry by my village. The hole is pretty deep and if you stand on the edge the view is alright. 

This is not by the quarry. I just wanted to include it because... well it's pretty and I wasn't sure when I would get a chance to show it. Is that a valid reason?
